After missing the rest of the 2010 Season and the entire 2011 Season the Mets needed the star ace Johan Santana to return and he did. On April 5 Santana pitched his first game as a Met since September 2 of 2010. The Mets hosted the Atlanta Braves and they won to a score 1-0. But Santana got a no decision because he left after the 5th inning and the Mets didn't score until the 6th inning. The game took place at Citi Field.
So overall Santana had a strong comeback as he pitched 5 innings and allowed 2 hits as he struck out 5 batters without giving up a run. So the big man is back and he looks forward to returning to his old strong former self. His comeback lead to the Mets Sweeping Braves.
