Polo Grounds in 1913

Polo Grounds was the New York Mets stadium located in Upper Manhattan, New York City. It was the Mets first stadium and they played there for their first 2 years from 1962-1963. In 1964 the Mets moved from Polo to go play at Shea Stadium.

The Mets were the first and last team to call the stadium Polo Grounds with a huge sign in '62. Baseball teams such as the NY Giants (Players League of MLB), New York Giants (now the San Francisco Giants), New York Yankees, and the Mets played there. Also Giants, Jets, Bulldogs, Gotham Bowl played Football there.
