Michael James Nickeas (born February 13, 1983 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) is a Major League Baseball catcher for the Toronto Blue Jays.

He made his major league debut on September 4 which is the same day Mets rookie pitcher Jenrry Mejia made his debut as a starter at Wrigley Field against the Chicago Cubs. For the recap see Mejia's First Start.
He hit his first major league homerun on April 21 off pitcher for the Houston Astros J.A. Happ. He was sent to the minors as Ronny Paulino came to the Mets on the day the Mets beat the Philadelphia Phillies as the Mets win on Bin Laden's Death.
On May 26 he hit his first major league grand slam in the 8th inning in a game against the San Diego Padres. For more see 3 homers slam Padres. On July 25 he was sent down as Rob Johnson took his spot. He then was called back up on September 1 along with Zach Lutz as part of the September Callups.
