O'Connor joined the New York Mets organization at the start of the 2010 season.
He was brought up on May 4,2011 to replace Pedro Beato who was on the DL.
He was sent back down to the Bisons on June 2,2011.
On October 1,2011, he declared and became a free agent along with Pat Misch.
