Mets Talk Live is a show on SNY that covers the Mets off-season and spring training. The show premiered on February 29, 2016 until April 1, 2016. The show covered spring training from February 29, 2016 until March 2, 2016 when it was hosted by Steve Gelbs and Nelson Figueroa. The show aired at six-thirty p.m. with reruns at ten p.m. The show was preceded by Mets Hot Stove with reruns succeeding it. The show airs Mondays to Fridays until opening day of the Mets upcoming season.
The show returned from spring training on March 4, 2016 in its six p.m. time slot with reruns at ten p.m. until April 1, 2016. The show was hosted by Doug Williams. The show was preceded by Loud Mouths with reruns succeeding it.
The show was left sponsor-less until March 8, 2016 when it was sponsored by Rallye BMW.
The show returned for a second season with spring training coverage on February 20, 2017 until March 31, 2017 where it was sponsored by Nissan. On March 30, former Mets pitching coach Rick Peterson appeared on the show along with Williams, Harper and Figueroa.
