On September 5,2010,The Mets are wrapping off their 3 Game Series at Chicago against the Cubs at Wrighy Field . The Mets said that David Wright will get the day off. Since it will be too long we will go to the most interesting detail of the story.

Ruben Tejada hit his first major league homerun after a cubs fan stretched out his hands to catch the ball but he dropped it and it went out back on the field. Ruben stopped at third base but was told to score and he did.

Ike Davis added to that as he hit his 17th homerun of the season and the Mets second of the game and his second in this series.

Jon Niese pitched Six innings only giving up 8 hits and 5 runs and getting only 4 strike-outs in the game. in those 8 hits he gave up 2 homeruns to give the cubs the lead but the Mets offensive batting runs attack gave him some life and support. Niese helped himself out too by smacking in 2 more runs.

Nick Evans was called up back to the team who pinch-hitted for Lucas Duda and remained in the game in Left Field.
