Marlon Anderson

Marlon Anderson is currently a free-agent. The New York Times and Newsday have called him one of the best pinch-hitters in the game of baseball. Anderson played for the Mets twice in his career. In 2005 Anderson signed with the Mets only to serve as a pich hitter. Then in 2007 Anderson was called up by the Mets and was ready to play with the Mets. Then after the 2007 season he resigned with the Mets for 2 years for $2.2 million. Anderson's Days as a Met would end in 2009 as on April 11, 2009 he was designated for assignment. But later that week he was released by the Mets.
