Justin Matthew Turner (born November 23, 1984 in Long Beach, California) is a Major League Baseball infielder for the New York Mets.

2010Edit

On May 25 Turner was claimed off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles and the Mets optioned him to Triple-A Buffalo. On July 16 Turner was called up to the Mets, with Nick Evans being sent down to Triple-A Buffalo. On July 20 Turner was sent down to the Bisons to make room for Oliver Perez.

2011Edit

On May 7 he had a big single. For more see Turner pinches Dodgers. On May 15 Turner hit his first major league homerun in the final game @ the Houston Astros.

In May turner won the NL Rookie of the Month of the award becoming the first Met to ever do so after getting a week of hits and RBI's. He got drilled by a pitch to end the game for the Mets in Mets Kick A's in 13. During May and June he was having some thumb problems which affected his throwing at 3rd base. He wasn't placed on the DL but he was still able to play at 3rd base and the rest of the infield.

On August 6 he hit 2 homeruns as the Mets Crack Bats for 4. To see more see Turner,Bay,Thole Spark Fire for NL Wild Card Race. On August 7 Turner played second base and shortstop in a game against the braves as Daniel Murphy got hurt in Murphing Out and in the loss as the Mets got Tomato Crushed.

2012Edit

On May 29 he was placed on the DL with a right ankle sprain which he suffered the day before in a game against the Philadelphia Phillies. His spot was replaced by Chris Schwinden. On June 16 he was off the DL as he took over Jason Bay's spot since he was placed on the DL.

2013Edit

Turner was placed on the DL on June 18 as Scott Atchison came off the DL and took his spot on the roster. Zack Wheeler was also called up. Turner came off the DL as Greg Burke was sent down on July 22.
