The Mets began the month of June on a loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates at home in a 3-9 loss. That was the teams last concern. The Mets had the reverse record that they had in April which was 16-11. They Mets had a bunch of stories in June. On June 3, a protest began to keep Jose Reyes with the Mets.
Especially a big one as on June 28,Jason Bay hit a grand slam snapping the No Grand Slam Mets for the first time since near the end of 2009 season and the rest of the 2010 season. After Bay's grand slam in the 4th inning Carlos Beltran hit one in the 5th inning. For more see Mets Roar Tigers.
