Gary Thorne (born June 9, 1948, in Bangor, Maine) is a play-by-play announcer for ESPN and ABC, working Major League Baseball, College football and Frozen Four hockey contests. He is also the television play-by-play voice of the Baltimore Orioles. He did work on the Mets on the Radio (1985-1988) and on TV (1994-2002)
