Daniel J. "D. J." Carrasco (born April 12, 1977 in Safford, Arizona) is a Major League Baseball relief pitcher who is a free agent.

He was sent to the minors as he was pitching poorly in April on April 24.

He was sent back up to the club after a month on June 11, as they sent down Dale Thayer to the Minors.

2012Edit

On April 4 D. J. was put on the DL along with Pedro Beato with a sprained right ankle. On May 5 D. J. came off the DL and the Mets sent down Jordany Valdespin to make room on the roster. On May 16 he was DFA'd after pitching worse than last season. On May 17 his spot was replaced by Robert Carson. On May 25 he was released by the Mets.
