Benny Peter Agbayani, Jr.(pronounced /æɡbaɪˈɑːni/; born December 28, 1971 in Honolulu, Hawaii) is a former baseball outfielder. He started his baseball career with the Mets on June 17, 1998. He played for the Mets from 1998-2001. On January 21,2002 he was sent to the Colorado Rockies.

On August 12, 2000 Benny made a catch and though he made it 3 outs but instead he gave a ball to a child. As he released he pulled the ball back from the fan and threw it down to make the out. It happened in the 4th inning against the San Francisco Giants. The Mets went on to a score of 3-2.
