The Mets began the month on the wrong foot with a 5 game losing streak from the last 2 games in July 2011 from the 10 game road trip. They landed still in 3rd place with a 10-16 record. By the end of the month the Mets had 5 Fishy Games against the Florida Marlins at home.
The Mets can hope to get out of the 3rd place by next month.
